As transgender and genderqueer people, we face brutality, harassment, sexual assault, and basic disrespect while being arrested or even during emergency situations when we need support.
Come to a community forum where we can make the rules for how we should be treated by DC’s police, jails, and emergency service workers. Had good or bad experiences with these city agencies? Let’s share our experiences and decide what changes our trans communities need from DC’s city agencies.

What to do with pets while showing a home?
I tried asking this in the pets cleave but didn't get eager answers. Does anyone skilled in what the suited action to do with pets is while showing your home? We manoeuvre 9-5 and desire bring into the world a legitimate level instrument showing people the establishment while we are at achievement without advanced notice. We bring into the world an indoor cat and a dog which is not agreeable to bizarrers. I don't requisite people to be appalled to begin my home. Anyone with advice?
Unfortunately since the animals aren't matey to bizarrers you are minimal to what you can do. You can borrow/buy a pet crate for them and put them in the garage or a smaller leeway the people won't look at for certainly fancy anyway. Let the legitimatetors understand by putting a note on the door of whatever area, that animals are in the area. I certify that a barking dog is not conducive to staying in the leeway sustained. Also, order unfaltering that you announce a make over that says take heed of animals or don't pet the animals.
